Audra Festival 2026

In Kaunas, the word "audra" means "storm" and this is exactly what the festival seeks to bring about in the city every early September. Co-founded by the Lizdas club teams and the Partyzanai collective, Audra Festival opens places normally closed to the public: the former Pergale steel factory, the M. Zilinsko Art Gallery, underground clubs and industrial interior courtyards. Four days, several stages, cutting-edge techno and house under the arch of a line-up which mixes Lithuanian residents and international guests. The festival cultivates a city festival format: free day in certain public squares, night program at the ticket office. An essential experience for those who want to feel the Lithuanian electronic scene in its native setting, off the tourist trail.

In Vilnius, the Naujamiestis district is home to Art Factory Loftas, a former Elfa factory converted into a cultural hub by and for the alternative community. Loftas Fest is two nights, six stages, more than forty artists: an urban music and contemporary arts format organized around the themes "Electro-Friday" and "Rock-Saturday". For the techno public, Friday evening remains the event to mark: electro sets, melodic techno and live house indoors and in the outdoor courtyard of the factory. The festival embraces its multi-genre DNA, but the electronic curation remains solid, heir to the historic passages of Modeselektor, Nina Elektrichka or Schacke. A large part of the outdoor program is free to access, only the paid Main Stage requires a ticket.

Head west to Klaipeda, the large port city of the Baltic. Sea Festival, or Juros Svente, is above all a major maritime and popular event which takes place in the city center, the old town and the port area every end of July. You don't come to Klaipeda for a techno festival in the strict sense, but the program has a solid electronic section. The Dienovidis Square hosts the Dienovidzio Garsai sessions with DJs like Astrus and Oversize, the Cruise Ship Terminal offers a late-night stage until 2 a.m. with Ten Walls & Goya, Beissoul & Einius and DJ SUN, and the Square Theater hosts a drum and bass section by Jlighta and MC Joyce. To end the season without leaving Vilnius, head to Lukiskes Prison 2.0, a former prison from 1904 converted into a cultural hub a stone's throw from the center. The format is not a classic festival but a continuous series of summer events: LABAS DJ Sessions every weekend in June and July, Urban Essentials programs around 2 vs 2 battles (Breaking, Hip-Hop, House), main courtyard concerts and underground techno evenings in courtyards and converted rooms. The curation oscillates between techno, electronic alternative, dub bass and experimental selections. The atmosphere is unique: raw historical architecture, contemporary frescoes, outdoor terrace, and possible access to the different rooms depending on the program. The perfect complement to a festival weekend elsewhere in Lithuania.
