The festival takes place in Zernez, in the Engadine valley, on the Praschitsch site which extends at the foot of the peaks of the Swiss National Park. Four days and four nights of psytrance, progressive and techno, in an alpine setting that transforms every sunrise into a highlight. The organizers have a strict access policy: registered tickets only, no day passes, official resale reserved for the festival platform to protect festival-goers from third-party sites. Camping is included in all tickets, which fits perfectly with the DNA of the project. A waste tax of 10 CHF is collected on purchase and refunded on site against a full bag, faithful to the festival's zero waste commitment.

Paleo is the most emblematic event of the Swiss festival season, and its electronic component has taken on an exceptional dimension for this 49th edition. On the Plaine de l'Asse, on the banks of Lake Geneva, six days of programming bring together pop headliners (The Cure, Gorillaz, Katy Perry, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, Orelsan) but also a leading electronic line-up. Nordstern has been the Basel techno institution for almost twenty years. The club organizes its summer meeting on the deck of the ship moored at the port of the Rhine, a unique setting in Europe where techno is experienced both on the water and between industrial containers. The programming follows the house signature: Techno, Melodic Techno and Deep House, with local residents and cutting-edge international guests. Lethargy is the most demanding techno event in Zurich, scheduled since 1995 at the Rote Fabrik, a former industrial complex converted into a cultural venue on the banks of Lake Zurich. The festival is held in parallel with the Street Parade and brings together for three days a cutting-edge electronic selection which mixes techno club, live sets and experimental performances. The 2026 edition features Robert Hood, A Guy Called Gerald (live), Extrawelt (live), Or:la, JakoJako, Lady Starlight (live), Klangphonics, Polygonia, Crystal Distortion (live) and Moritz Simon Geist (live). The Street Parade remains the largest techno festival in the world, and the 2026 edition confirms its status. Nearly a million people gather around the Lake Zurich basin for a Saturday that punctuates the city from 1 p.m. to midnight. Eight stages (Opera Stage, Center Stage, etc.) and around thirty Love Mobiles parade along the Quaibruecke and Bellevue, for a soundtrack that covers the entire techno and house palette, from deep to hard. For 2026, several headliners have already been confirmed: Adam Beyer, Vintage Culture, Marlon Hoffstadt, Andrea Oliva, Hilit Kolet, Archie Hamilton, Daria Kolosova and Sonny Fodera. ON THE WATER is the most original project of the Geneva season. The festival takes place on a floating stage installed 700 meters offshore in the harbor of Geneva, between the Societe Nautique and the Perle du Lac. Access is only by lake: boat, paddle, pedalo or fin, with no drinks sold on site for safety reasons. The concept requires unique logistics and creates an extraordinary festival experience, where the dancefloor floats in the middle of Lake Geneva. The 2026 brings together ASTRAZUL (Mateo and Adrien, Geneva duo), EWERSEEN (Warsaw duo specializing in cinematic melodic house), JAY JAY B3B PIVOMOOD (artistic director of Collectif 52) and TWOFORALL (residents of the Audio Club). Everything is free, program from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with postponement until August 15 in case of bad weather.

Apocalypse Festival targets a different audience: fans of harder styles, who meet every early September at JungfrauPark in Interlaken for a night dedicated to techno, hardstyle and hardcore. The event is held indoor/outdoor at the foot of the Bernese Alps, in a setting that fits perfectly with the dramaturgy of the genre. The 2026 line-up confirms Centaury, Mind-X, Anthik, Hardvision, E.X.E.C.U.T.E, Kellerkind, Jack Dylan b2b Timo Tetriz, Kellerkind b2b Anthik, Nitrile vs Kage (NL), Simply Simon vs Soulbeat, Equalizerz, MTS & Fr3akmaster, ONX, Synergee, Rawleen, Northwind, D-Nation and Nitrile. Access is strictly reserved for those aged 18 and over, doors open at 9:00 p.m. and close at 6:00 a.m. The official ticket office goes through Ticketcorner and offers several price levels (Loyal Raver, Blind Ticket, Early Bird, Final Ticket), with a clear advantage for those who buy early.

Polaris closes the Swiss techno season in Verbier, in the Valais Alps resort, with a unique format in Europe: two consecutive weekends at the end of November, with a stage set-up which uses the Espace Saint-Marc at the bottom of the station and a dancefloor at the top of the cable cars for its day sessions. The festival has built its reputation on a cutting-edge selection between techno, melodic techno and house, and regularly welcomed heavyweights like Laurent Garnier, Nina Kraviz or Sven Vaeth in previous years. At the time these lines are published (June 2026), the organization has not yet revealed the official dates or ticketing for the 2026 edition, which are traditionally announced a few months before the event.
